Jane Wylie-Roberts

CEO

Jane has been the CEO of Stafffinders since 2006, following a successful MBO of the company from her father and sister. Her journey with the family business began long before her tenure as CEO, as she was Director of Operations for many years after earning a BA in Business Studies.

In addition to her leadership at Stafffinders, Jane is also CEO of Kingpin International and has been honoured with the title "Pioneer to the Life of the Nation" by the late Queen Elisabeth II.  Along with this, Jane is a dedicated advocate and active member of Family Business United and past Director of a local Chamber of Commerce.

Jane is also committed to education and community service. She frequently serves as a guest lecturer at a number of universities and business groups, sharing her expertise with aspiring professionals. Her outreach includes visiting schools to educate students about the world of work, with the hope of inspiring the next generation.

Beyond her professional achievements, Jane finds joy in various personal pursuits. She is a piano enthusiast and cellist, and she cherishes spending time with her family and friends. Her philanthropic efforts are notable; she has led initiatives such as collecting many thousands of spectacles for distribution in Africa to enhance vision and employment opportunities. Additionally, she serves as a trustee for the Bairdwatson Charitable Trust, which allocates funds to charities that aid individuals from challenging backgrounds in gaining skills, experience, and employment.

Fiona has been an integral part of our team for the past for over 25 years, serving as the Personal Assistant to our CEO. Throughout her impressive tenure, she has demonstrated real dedication, growing alongside the company and playing a crucial role within operations. Fiona's ability to adapt and provide support during any given situation has been invaluable.

In addition to her role as Personal Assistant, Fiona is instrumental in keeping the business organised and running smoothly. She meticulously manages schedules, coordinates meetings, and handles a myriad of tasks with remarkable efficiency. Her attention to detail ensures that nothing falls through the cracks. Fiona is often regarded as the encyclopedia of Stafffinders. Her extensive knowledge of the company's history, policies, and procedures is second to none.

With over four years of invaluable experience at Stafffinders, and a further 17 years of experience within the hospitality sector, Scott has established himself as a renowned expert in the field. His hospitality industry knowledge not only showcases his expertise but also highlights his commitment to delivering outstanding outcomes for our clients and candidates alike.

Scott specialises in sourcing candidates for hard-to-fill roles. His proficiency extends beyond traditional placements as he excels in filling positions in remote or unconventional locations, leveraging his extensive network and strategic approach to recruitment.

Tom Faloon

Hospitality Team Leader

As the Team Leader of our hospitality team in Edinburgh, Tom leverages over 3 years of recruitment experience to excel at Stafffinders. His industry expertise and dedication enable him to consistently identify the perfect candidates for our clients. Moreover, Tom specialises in swiftly fulfilling last-minute staffing requirements and supplying to large functions and events. Tom has accomplished a BA (Hons) degree in Business Management and extensive experience, with 3 years in the hospitality sector and a further 3 years in hospitality recruitment. His reputation as a reliable and resourceful leader in hospitality recruitment is underscored by his consistent delivery of high-calibre staffing solutions.

Established in 1971, Stafffinders was originally set up in St Mirren Brae in Paisley, by the father of our current owner, Jane Wylie-Roberts. Remaining true to our roots, Stafffinders HQ is still located in the heart of Paisley town centre offering services throughout Scotland and beyond. With further expansion twenty years ago, came our office in Edinburgh City Centre’s Rutland Square, allowing us to operate and provide our expertise from offices based on both the East and West coast.
